In Cooperation with:

New Deal for Africa! Impulses for a Promising Continent.

The German-African Business Association (Afrika-Verein) and the Westerwelle Foundation cordially invite you to the

3rd Berlin Africa Economic Forum
at Hotel Meliá Berlin, Friedrichstrasse 103
on 21 March 2017.

The focus of this year’s event is on the current issue “Migration from Africa” and the role of the private sector regarding the creation of prospects for the population of the relevant countries.

At the Berlin Africa Economic Forum (BAEF) we will discuss about the effectiveness of the current instruments of the EU and national regulations to achieve advancements for the African economies. How could the design of development cooperation look like in order to meet the challenges of our neighbouring continent? Does Africa need a “Marshallplan”? What economic incentives would stimulate long-term effects of the labour market?

This year’s BAEF will highlight migration from a German and an African perspective and paves the way for new comprehensive approaches required.
